Still a mod at heart

Hi guys
I'm new on here, attracted by the occasional mention of the X-ADV (as I recently bought one). I live in North Wales.
I was a full-blown mod in my youth, with SX200 and parka – riding it over the Pennines from Yorkshire to Manchester University every week.
I got back into biking 20 years ago with a 400 Burgman, which I loved. Once I kitted it out with luggage space for me and the missus - i.e. topbox and side panniers - my nephew said it looked like a GoldWing. "What's a GoldWing", I said. Once I saw one, I had to have it - and I've been a "Winger" ever since (but never really a "biker").
I take my Wing mates to numerous scooter rides every year (e.g. Ginger's Egg Run; Nomad's Ride to The Valley), as I still melt nostalgically when I see a Lambretta.
I was given an X-ADV as a loaner when I took my Wing for service a few weeks ago - and I loved it! So I bought one as a second bike to my GL1800.
The photo shows me on the day it arrived from Dobles Honda, but I have spent the last few weeks kitting it out with Radiator grill, Hugger, Crash guards, spot lights, Fuzeblock, SatNav, Optimate lead, loud horn, Heated grips, Heated Jacket power, iPhone mount......
