Suzuki Van Van

Having enjoyed the delights of his PCX125 my elder brother fancied a Van Van to add to his L Plate stable so I managed to pick up a mint 2009 model for a modest price and, last week, rode it up to his croft in Waterenish. I had such a blast that I had to get one for myself so, as chance would have it, an identical 2010 plate appeared on Gumtree on Monday and I bought it. I've had three of them in the past and always loved them, even if they're really slow. First pic is arriving at his place, the second is at my place. (who has the better view????)

Ive had one, great bikes but as said a little slow, I bet the 200 version is a good machine.

It was still strangely addictive. I almost bought one after riding it at Alton! 8-)

I fitted a 13T front sprocket yesterday to give the bike a bit more zip, which it certainly did. Top speed is reduced, of course, but still managed 65mph (gps) before the rev limiter kicked in. So, realistically, without destroying the engine, I'll have to keep it to 60 max, which is ok for a fun bike.

I took the other route, a bigger front sprocket, soon found out the limit of a bike with fat tyres, I went down the A229 Bluebell Hill, it got up to a good speed, but started bouncing and shaking about.
