poppers

Post by knight2 »

Any body know what those little plastic poppers are called that help hold the plastic panels on and what size they are. My 650 has a service coming up and I broke a couple last time, so I would like to replace them and the ones I will probably break next time  .

They're called trim clips in the car world, I think. Now I'm wondering if I should get some, just in case!

Suzuki have a different name of course! They seem to be 8mm. And very expensive OEM!

Thanks, your right they're expensive, I think I'll be a bit more careful when I take them off in future.

Plenty cheap on Ebay:-
Motorcycle Fairing Fasteners, Scrivets, Screw Rivets, well worth a look.
ps.
Those Spiral screw in plasterboard fasteners work well with Burger Screen fixing, just as good as the hugely expensive Suzuki ones.
