Nc750s going... ADV350 coming in.

Post by mottza »

Although having the NC750S for 6 months and doing 3200 miles on it, I was wanting to have a lighter bike and saw this ex demo ADV350 at John Banks. One test ride on Saturday (see video) , and deposit down this morning.

Congrats - I'm tempted by the ADV350 as it seems like a smaller scoot that might be decent on the back roads, and I don't do enough long journeys these days to justify even one Tmax, let alone two! But the Tmax is such fun and does everything so well, that I'm reluctant to sell either of them.

Well done!

I like them a lot but suspect that the seat is too high for me. The SH300i is just about my maximum.

I've never ridden one but I guess that it has pretty decent rear springs.

Well, the rear shockers LOOK fabulous, which is at least half the battle anyway!

The seat height ia to tall for me, I looked around Maidstone Honda, the shop has low stocks and half of those bikes are owned by Honda.

I was lucky. The demo bike wasn't for sale but they changed their mind. Few quid off, 600 mile service done and got the silver that has a long lead time.

Thanks for the NC750S experience Dave.

Seat height on the ADV350 is 10mm lower than the SH300.

I had an ADV350 last year. Loved it. Really good fun.

I tried an ADV350 but found the riding position too awkward. It wasn't only the actual seat height but the stretch to get feet down over the bodywork. I think later machines had some revisions which improved this so if I was still looking at maxi-scooters I would consider giving it a second try.
