Group ride from Essex into Kent Sunday June 2nd 2024 - All are welcome

There will be a Sunday group ride on 2nd June to the Butchers Hook Cafe (Burwash Rd, Heathfield. Kent. TN21 8RA) biker friendly & about a 90 mile ride.

The route will start at 09:30 in Witham, BMW Motorad bike park going heading to the QEII bridge avoiding motorways and bigger A roads then around Sevenoaks & Tonbridge.
TomTom maps show a few scenic roads in the cafe area that I would like to include.

Going back, the trips highlight will include entering Essex through a hole in the ground! How weird is that?

Meet at Witham, Ulting, Woodham Walter, Bicknacre, East Hanningfield, West Hanningfield (Reservoir), South Hanningfield, Brock Hill, Crays Hill, Dunton Wayletts, Orsett, West Thurrock, QE11 Bridge, Watling Street, Sutton at Hone, scenic part starts, Farningham, Shoreham, Pilgrims Way? need to research this, Seal, scenic part starts, Ightham, Shipbourne, Tonbridge (outskirts), Haysden, Print Style, Rusthall, Royal Tunbridge Wells (outskirts), Frant, scenic part starts, Mark Cross, Argos Hill, Wellbrook, Heathfield.

Might be difficult as I'm away for the X9 lakes ride and then off to Portugal. Wife's birthday earlier in the month.

I'll try to make it as we go to the Butchers hook via interesting quiet roads, however I have a special birthday for my wife and our golden wedding soon after. I am also going on the X9 ride to the Lake district.

So as not to clash with the Lakes ride, birthdays, anniversaries, the ABR Festival and numerous other events going on in June, how about the 2nd or 9th?

It's a pencil me in for that Mark. The new bike won't be run in so can we keep to 20mph all the way! Seriously, would like to come but can't say just yet for sure. Might be some medical stuff going on at around that time too which might preclude me from coming.
