Hello Again

Post by TonyH »

Hi All

Have just dug out my 2003 Tmax after three years of no use.

Anybody know why it's a pig to start if not fired up for a few days? It's always been like that (even with fresh fuel, replacement inlet rubbers and a good battery). Once it's been started there's no problem.

Guess I need to just keep using it!

All the best

Hi Tony

I have a '97 600 Diversion that's the same.

For the first few rides after a lay up, I have to warm up the carb bodies before she'll start.

Used regularly she's fine.
