A few of us essex muppets are meeting at the Shell Garage just after the A120 Clacton junction of northbound A12 at 10.30.

We're taking in the delights of the Dedham Vale and Lavenham country. Ride is around 40 miles and 1hr 10.

Ending up at Lavenham to go the the bakery for a pasty and then for a ice cream.

I'll be on the cub and Ian on his Enfield 350 so a leisurely pace. Mark will leave us for dust on his Burger.

It was good, I haven't done a long ride like that in forever.

Excellent little ride chaps & great to see everyone. Enjoyed it. Nice to see Peter (Funkycowie) who was good enough to put in the miles to get to us for the ride. We also saw our friend "Shaun125" on his excellent rebuilt bike. It was the first ride out for me on the Enfield & it didn't disappoint. Thanks again Chris for your meticulous planning of the ride.

It was a great ride through some pretty villages and nice to see all the bluebells appearing in the wooded areas.
Ahem, I'm sure the ride took longer than 1hr and 10 minutes!

I didn't leave anyone in the dust, I was doing my thing up the rear and recording our progress.
First video is up on my YouTube thingy...
