battery question!
i was trying to fit a permenant optimate connector to the battery. i moved the two rubber covers for the positive and negative terminals, but i couldn't loosen the bolts with the usual amount of force. before i open up a party seven of whoop ass on these bolts, is there something i'm missing, before i do? is there an outside chance i could break the terminals, or have any of you guys had the same problem, at your first attempt? it's also a little awkward to get under the seat, and gain access to the battery.

Re: battery question!
Barry,
Recently did same on mine and didn't have a problem in loosening the bolts.
Also, if its not too late, I found that by removing the hydraulic stay from the seat (only has a pull out 'R' circlip pin) at one end, it enabled me to lift the seat higher and by proping it up with a suitable length of timber, access was much better.
