I'd love a GTS 300, so so sooooo much fun and surprisingly smooth to ride. I was shocked it was actually smoother over the bumpy bit of road by JT's old shop than my X8 was at the time.

Crap on motorway though... after 60mph they run out of oooomph. Brilliant in town though.

I was looking at one of these yesterday at george ward's in barnsley, they are good all round scooters and was told they will cruise at 70 which probably means 55 to 60 is more accurate, I'm gonna sell my burger van as it's too lardy for me.

Has anyone who is 6 foot or taller ridden one and can comment?

Other good reasons to buy one is this (turn the sound up) ;)

I've found that big scoots don't ride well over bumpy roads, why don't they makes them with big wheels?

One downside to a vespa is that you have to spend another 500 on getting clobbered up with the fine Italian leather jacket and silly helmet.

Be worth it though!

Plus you would need to buy one of those girly helmets as contrary to the advertisements there is no way a normal helmet would fit under the seat.

My next scoot looks to be a Atlantic 500 or Burger 400. Around the 2002-2005 mark. Would love a Bev500.

They are a lovely scooter, but as Carmen says they run out of puff around 60 to 65mph. A screen is a must for an extra 5mph too. I loved my GTV but useless 2 up with gear... 65mph flat out!
