http://www.kymco.co.uk/downtown_300i_scooterQuote: In the UK, the Downtown 300i will be available from the beginning of August 2010 in a fashionable pearlescent white with contrasting black features. Furthermore, as with all Kymco machines, it will benefit from the manufacturer's two-year unlimited-mileage warranty, and the support of Kymco's National dealer network.
But still no ABS? What a shame.

Well that's good news as the market is a little bereft of new models at the moment..
Oh yes, as regards SYM they've let us down with the MAXSYM...the new 2011 brochure is out and there is no mention of the Maxsym what so ever, so it looks like it's disappeared into the ether.........Pathetic- just like the Kymco MYroad(to nowhere).

No ABS = No sale. Shame.
So my next bike, which will still be in the 25-300 class will either be an Sh300 (but not so good for my commuting distance) or a Peugeot. It would be nice to have some more options.
