burgerman wrote: Might seem like a dumb question, but me and Mrs B are thinking of touring Holland/Belgium/France next year, and I'm wondering what happens with the headlight. Do you need to change the way the light dips, 'cos my headlight's on all the time. Is it a case of masking the lens, same as a car? Sorry if it sounds like a daft question, but I've never ridden a PTW over there. We never bother thing is are you doing any night riding anyway as you wont blind anyone in daylight on dipped lights. If your really worried go out on quiet road at night postion your self on right side of road and see where beam pattern falls.Julian

Thanks Julian, that's put my mind at ease. Don't intend doing any night riding over there, so we should be ok. Cheers Graham

The main thing is looking left on traffic Islands easy to get caught out even when following traffic and maybe put a sticker on screen in your line of sight to remind you to keep on the right as its usually a few days in when you relax a bit and pull on to an empty road you make a mistake.Julian
I rode in a thurderstorm at night in france in the rain was glad of a lightning strike to light road up for split second.Very scary in the country with no street lighting

How about introducing yourself to the Muppets in the time honoured fashion, and telling everyone a bit about yourself. I'd have kept quiet about getting a deadmans finger though!
