Xmax300 owner

Post by fm12 »

Hello,I,m a English man presently living in France. I'm a long time motorcyclist( plus 50 years) who 18 months back purchased my first scooter a xmax300. Apart from the harsh rear suspension, I'm happy with the bike as it approaches 10,000km. Thanks for accepting me into Maxi Muppets.

I've got one too and the rear shocks the only real complaint I have. Looking at changing them for a pair of yss units next year.

just swapped a xmax 300 2018 for a burger 400 2020. Main complaints I had with the xmax 1) no handbrake 2) rubbish high beam The bike was awesome good mpg and quick but went for the lower saddle height and comfort of the burger. The burger has unfortunately been in workshop since I bought it 15 days ago it broke down on my way home from the dealer??? beginning to wish I had spent the extra on the TMAX 560 Dx now

I found with the X-Max that the rear suspension felt better if you eased forward away from that brick-like backrest! Also if you have the handlebars on their forward setting.
Otherwise really enjoyed it; compared to the Forza 350 they both have their + and - points.

The burger has more legroom than the xmax that would suit my 33in inside leg and I would like a parking brake.I,ve decided to keep the xmax though, the engine is a peach and with fuel prices on the up( €1.97 a litre at my local Total garage) I'll stick with it for another couple of years.
Hope the dealer sorts yours quickly.

Yes I have moved the handlebars forward, I,ve also moved the preload on the rear suspension up a notch which seems to have improved things slightly.
