The bloke in the last pic isn't me BTW, that's my little bro who went on a 500 Yamaha.

Haha.

I think it was Chuck Cunningham syndrome.

Hello again, nice to have a regular member, and I can see the photos in Chatham, have you still got the same scoot, we said they were good.

Yes, still got the same one and I love it to bits. I've managed to do basic maintenance like oil/filter/drive belt etc and I've taken the wheels off to have tyres fitted. I've also replaced the brake pads.

The best thing I ever did with this scoot is fit a tall Givi screen which I look through instead of over. People say "I wouldn't want to look through a piece of perspex all the time" but looking through a visor is just the same IMO, so there.

Oh and I put in some 18g Dr Pulley sliders, they are the second best thing ever, cured my juddery take off at a stroke.

BTW- All this maintenance stuff is easy for me to write about on here but it was a darn sight more difficult for me to actually do. It was all mostly trial and error, blood, tears and YouTube videos.

Disclaimer.

I've just realised that I didn't actually fit the first tall screen, it came on the bike, but I broke it and fitted another.

I was pleased to find that the Burgman easily kept pace with bigger bikes on the open road and was better than them in heavy traffic.

This is probably a daft question but I've never let that stop me before.

What is a benefactor?
