At well well over retirement age just added a Burgman 400 1999, but as new, unused for yonks, and i love it.
Also have a 600 Fazer, and a 1964 Velocette Le all chalk and cheese plus a Citroen 2cv, I am an old petrol head, started off in life as a BSA apprentice, and had a bike ever since.
I am a member of the Kings Norton Motorcycle Club, which caters for anything on 2 or 3 wheels, and meets weekly originated in 1946.
Worked at Copes in Birmingham as a motorcycle mechanic in my early life, and ever since as a hobby.
Hope to enjoy experiences with you all, and clock some miles up.

It takes many screws to make a cradle, but only one to fill it.

You might want to change your name. Otherwise people may get confused with a previous forum member that wasn't popular.

Unless he bangs on endlessly about push bikes, drinking tea at Bettys and touring Germany on an MZ in the 13th century I don't think we'll get them mixed up.
As an Ami 6 Break owner I'm looking forward to hearing more about this 2CV! And the Velocette... love those

I have got in depth knowledge of times when you could have a haircut for a shilling, gallon of petrol for half a crown, mini skirts

I feel like I'm destined to inherit the old meldrew's space in life. Swap Nutmeg's for Bettys, and UK for Germany and I'm getting close!Jaz wrote: ↑Tue Aug 18, 2020 6:37 am

I'm a 2CV enthusiast of old, too (not any longer, too many hobbies, too little time.)
Welcome, but don't be surprised if we add a "not" prefix to your forum name.

Welcome, I have a house in Selly Oak not far from you, nice to hear about the local bike club at Kings Norton. I had a LE Mark3 years ago and was a member of the well run LE owners club.
