Well I was only away a few days😂
In the space of those few days I went from a bike owner to (back to) a scoot owner.
The bike I had was too heavy for my advancing years, sold it with the intention of buying a smaller bike.
A 2002 Piaggio X9 500 came up, in good condition (apart from the wheels) and at a good price..
The deal was done, picked it up from Worcestershire, had a nice, but wet and cold ride home, but compared to the bike it feels like a featherweight.
A few cosmetic issues, wheels being one, and a scratch on the front mudguard, but the remainder of the body work is fine.
Here's to a summer of rides, and fingers crossed no more lockdowns.

My mental image of you with a yellow T Max is now in tatters.

Welcome back, fella! 8-)

Hi Capitano...
That's going back some time :D
When I last checked the yellow Max was still on the road.
I did look for another Max, but the prices, even for old one is way out of my (pension) league.
Apart from a couple of minor annoyances, I am quite happy with the X9.
It will be just fine for the riding I am doing.
Thanks for the welcome back.
