HONDA HELIX BITS 'N' BOBS NEEDED

Post by Pandrop »

I have just managed to bag a lovely old Helix which needs some TLC .
Until she is delivered Im not sure exactly what parts i'll need however I know that I definately need a left-hand mirror, but reckon there will be other bits and bobs that I will need.

Has anyone got a box of Helix bits kicking around that they no longer need /are excess to requirements etc and may want to part with? If so please give me a shout .

Cheers

You will most likely need to renew the drive belt, sliders and maybe the clutch shoes. Note also the rear 'gearbox' which should have the oil changed when you have the belt case cover off. I have a (home made) tool to lock the variator and clutch so the nuts can be released and torqued up, you are welcome to borrow them when you get around to it.
