Meldrew - a fair number of posts from you do have a negative edge to them. Especially when you combine that with your user name and avatar.

Just my thoughts...

Living by the seaside we don't generally fire up any motorised transport on bank holidays.

We let everyone else buzz around, create traffic and crowds, and if we have to go anywhere we walk or cycle, avoiding the crowds.

However, I'm not averse to heading to another seaside town, on a bank holiday, on my Cub, if an occasion arises. What's more, I'll enjoy it.

I haven't been to Minehead since I was 11. I wonder if it's changed much! 8-)

Enjoy!

I saw Edwin Starr at Butlins Minehead along with a load more Leemings and wasn't even a bank holiday.

And nothing to do with being anti social enough to avoid other folk. Brubaker must be privileged (not from where I'm sitting mind  )

That's fine if you like solo riding. But dont knock those that like to share their plans.

There are many posts and threads that don't interest me but I don't tell people that. I just mark them as read.

I like to go out on my own, no decisions to make, just go where the mood takes me. But I still post if I'm going to Halfpenny Green or Cosford or wherever, in case anyone wants to meet me there. Surprisingly, they often do.

yes I like riding, socialising, and chatting to other 'like minded folk', all part of the two wheel hobby for me. I've had some fantastic funny times with the muppets, and hope it continues.
