The Other Bike.

Post by macamxthe1st »

Has anyone else found that since acquiring the Burgman that their other previously much loved pride and joy has become somewhat neglected. I find that the Burgman is always the machine of choice due to its sheer "useability" so much so that I am seriously considering doing the previously unthinkable and selling the other bike.

Know exactly what you mean.
I traded in a Daytona 900 for my wee scooter.
Just didn't use the Daytona much, use the scooter all the time now.
Don't miss the Daytona, no regrets whatsoever about getting rid of it.

Wow...that's so good to hear you two saying that (or in actual fact...writing that!). I'm just trading my 1000cc Vstrom for the Burg 400. Whilst waiting for March 1st, I've been wondering if I'm doing the right thing, just ever so slightly, if you know what I mean. Although deep down I feel sure I am and I can 't wait to get it. :D
Probably not ugly enough for the 'Ugly Bunch'!

I posted last week that I am now selling my Suzuki Intruder M1500 due to the burg 650 being so good. http://www.maxi-muppets.co.uk/forum/vie ... 22&t=10345

So it seems you can become infected with a Burgman of any size! And once infected, you can't get rid of it... :o

And not just Burgmans.
You don't get the adrenalin rush quite the same, but the sheer practicality of a scooter soon wins you over.
Can't quite understand anyone going from a scooter to something like the Mana though unless just as a second bike?
