My Burgman 400 for sale or swop with adjustment for CN250

Post by Jimo »

Hi guys, I've had my Burgman 400 for 3 years and haven't ridden it much due to medical problems at 80, also my small wife finds it impossible to get on it due to the large seat, so it has to go to make room for a CN250 that is also on my WANT LIST.
It has been fitted with a new AF266 screen, Ball mount for GPS, Datatool Alarm, and Data-tag protection, it has 11,00 odd miles and is coloured Black and has a few small scratches on left bodywork after falling over while stationary.

I had a '90 CN250 from new but stupidly sold it about 3 years ago with 7,000 miles on to get the burger, now I want to revert back so if anyone can help in any way please PM me or call.

Hi bud, I'd forgotten how low the Helix was  I keep thinking of getting something lighter than the SilverWing, but it would mean giving up some of it's utility, which was the main reason for getting it in the first place

Did the X7 have the Honda motor, I don't think it did. The X9 250 & 250SL did though.

Latest from Pikey:-
I'd sell my 2 Helix for £900 as is if anyone wants a project they were both running before lay up .If not will be doing at least one and selling this year with MOT once my Vespa gt 200 is MOTD and sold .Just keeping the Sym Hd and Sh 125 .

Then somehow that Honda engine originally from the Helix had it's carburettor replaced by fuel injection and it's emissions cleaned up by Piaggio to pass Euro 3.
There was no X7 on a X reg. It came out in 2008.

You must be thinking of the X9 250. Even the X8 and X'evo had the Piaggio 250ie lump.
