Wow

Post by SuperGordini »

Just got my new Beverly 400, been for a tootle, can only compare it to my old Forza. Piaggio just soo comfortable, soo powerful, just gets 10 out of 10. Forza back breaker over moderate to long distance, OK, it had power but ran out of horses if pushed hard up hills. 7 out of 10.

Well, the old 350 was very rapid...could keep up with a Tmax at lower speeds. Wasn't quite so much fun in the bends though

I'll get my camera out next time it's sunny. Actually, Mr Grumpy raises a valid point, I have noticed slight understeer into corners, maybe that big wheel, or just my rustiness. I'll keep updating.

Must be good if it betters my old Beverly 350, I sold that one because someone nasty had cloned the number plate and was running around London doing serious crimes.

Supergordini, any further info about your Beverly 400? Do you still like it, what's it been like to live with? Can you recommend one? I'm going to look at one in the next couple of days, and would appreciate your comments as an owner. Thanks

I can only see one problem - it’s got two of everything up front that could make servicing costly.
Had a trial run on a 350 one from Norwich dealer a while back, well it was different but I still prefer my Helix although I’m much longer in the tooth now with biking just a memory.

Is your 400 the one with keyless ignition, it took some time but we did find the switch for the emergency key,
