Doesn't that leave your brake light permanently on?SH 300i Gr. wrote:Yes it is
The only thing I did was to bridge the left brake switch so I do not have to press the rear brake for the scooter to start, so If it stalls (under 20hlm) I just press the start button and way I go,
It was dangerous if you had do stop at your tracks do start but with this mod no problem.

No it doesn't there are 2 switches
One for the brake light and one for the engine start.
The stalling I have is not so bad
Once in 1700 klm or 1 a month it's not a problem.
It's easy do do it your self and
You will not have to be afraid when it stalls someone is going to ram you from behind.

Hmm, I'll have to look at that then. Mine doesnt stall but i'd much rather just be able to start it without grabbing the brakes if it ever did!SH 300i Gr. wrote:No it doesn't there are 2 switches

Re: Honda SH300 engine stalling problem latest news
when browsing yesterday i came across a post that stated that honda were reprogramming the ecu`s on the honda sh300`s to stop this from happening (stalling issues) supposed to be a freeby, dont know if its worth a call to your local honda dealer
I cant seem to remember.. I don't know where I'm going, but I'm on my way.

Mine been serviced by a Honda dealer all its life, so I assume its been done or just hasn't suffered from it? If it does start it will most certainly be going to a dealers though!

Some late 2009 and 2010 had this problem, the best solution is to remove the brake switch so you can start with out having to stop completely

Well problem solved with Tps reset I have more than 2500 klm
In heavy city traffic and no stall!
Put a DNA air filter on better mpg and feels the engine more responsive, maybe it helped with the stalling too.
