It just pops off.
I am debating making a cover which will remain in place to ensure no water gets in - there are two other holes - so I can either leave the original off permanently or replace it when the GPS isn't attached.
My proposed cover will be just a flat plate with a hole in for the screw thread of the ball.
Next time I visit the dealer I'll take a photo of the bars with the cover removed.

Yes, after asking the question I found a video of someone removing one on a 300, so must be exactly the same. How about charging? It’s nice that the glove compartment has a charging point but you can’t ride around with it open.

Re: Honda Forza 350
I raised that with Paul; it's another matter to be sorted out.
I have a Hella/BMW socket with a cap which I've already shown him; we will work out the best place to fit it.
I mounted one on the cubby-lid on my first Silverwing then, for the second and third Silverwings, made a lead with BMW socket on one end and cigar-lighter plug on the other which I plugged in to the socket in the cubby, leaving the lid slightly open.
I favour the BMW plugs as they have a more positive register when plugged in.

Thanks, Lenny!
I was going to take a picture next time I visited the dealer; now I won't have to.

Re: Honda Forza 350
Very interesting!
That's the first one of that style which says it's specifically for the 350.
Please let us know all about it when you've fitted it.

Re: Honda Forza 350
hopefully somewhere in a month (i'm waiting for the scooter as well as this holder), I will post a pictures...
I'm also thinking of buying a TPMS pressure monitoring system (https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B07HB3 ... =pd_gw_unk) but I'm not sure which is the right size 18 * 13 or 23 * 15 - which fits Forza? Is it just the outer dimension because of the battery, and both fit on the tire?
