Seems like it's a 50cc increase, 330cc from 280cc.
Which doesn't much but is a 20%+ increase. A 350 should make at least 30bhp - the Piaggio Bev 350 made 35 if I remember correctly, which made it great fun - in a straight line anyway
Good estimate, just seen video of a Forza 350 in Thailand on a dyno, showing 29.6hp. :D

That's enough HP for me. Now what about the mpg?

I guess we'll have to wait for that :(

Yep, but the Bev 350 is 330cc and produced 33ps. Due to Euro4 it had it's power output lowered to 30ps. I don't know what effect Euro5 is going to have. At the moment we are seeing Euro4 models still being sold. They are allowed to sell off the older Euro4 models as either new unregistered bikes (a small percentage of last years sales total allowed), or as pre-registered last years models, most of which are gone now I understand. We may see the Euro5 models with much less power. Don't know yet. Definitely a 330/350 with 32ps plus would be nice, but with a nice bit of torque low down.

Not really, I guessed 30bhp at the crank! I assume that the Dyno figure will be at the wheels - if that's so then the output at the crank must be at least 35bhp. This sounds serious fun!

Difficult to know what figure is being quoted. Most inertia dynos can quote both figures for the crank (extrapolated from the rear wheel data and torque), and the rear wheel bhp/ps figure. Both figures are normally quite accurate. For this new Forza I expect that's a crank figure being quoted. MY 2012 Burgman 400 was putting out 34ps at the crank, 28.6ps at the rear wheel. Torque was 36.3nm irc. It's unlikely the Forza would better that on a 330cc engine especially with Euro5 compliancy.

Yes, I must admit the 30 at the crank sounds more likely. 30 at the wheels would be as much as the original Tmax put down! Still, my SH300 had 27bhp (at crank) and that went like a rocket, though there wasn't a lot of scoot to drag around!

From what I can see from the many videos coming from Thailand the new engine produces just over 4hp over the 300.

Sounds about right lenny. So potentially that means it's got about 34ps at the crank. Probably near 28ps+ at the rear wheel. Nice!
