I received a phonecall just now from Paul at Newcastle Motorcycles to tell me the Forza will be ready for collection this time next week.
It won't have all the extra bits on as they take a while to come (from Italy, probably) but he's going away for a week and wants to make sure I have the bike before he goes. (Top box and taller screen).
I will arrange to go up again in due course to have them fitted.

Hurrah! :)

That's true and exactly what Paul said when I went up to see him two weeks ago! :)

Thats good news Mike,i guess you’ll get it serviced there,i paid the £599.00 for three services, pretty sure your 300cc falls in to the same bracket,i guess all Honda dealers are operating the same scheme,as far as I remember it includes the basic stuff needed, oil, filters but not consumables such as brake pads,tyres…..

That's handy to know, Steve, thank you.
Nothing's been said along those lines but it may be mentioned next week.
The only slight negative is that the dealership is 30 minutes ride away whereas my local workshop is 4 minutes ride and only 20 minutes walk if I have to leave it.
We shall see. :)

I did that plan for my 300 back in 2019 in Romford, so I think it must be a national thing.

What do forza 350 owners think of that addendum named Honda Smartphone Voice Control - personally I think it looks like an afterthought and surely must interfere with the riders knees - and I doubt whether the setup would be hand muff friendly Image

Not a Forza owner but yes it does look slightly like an after thought. However, I'd get used to that and as a tall person, I don't think it would affect my knees. I think the extra functionality offered by it will be useful for owners.
Probably not ugly enough for the 'Ugly Bunch'!

Been riding for 54 years & owned too many bikes to list here...

Switchgear and other controls - the next area for Honda to look at, now they've updated the engine. Meanwhile, this is an example for them of how to integrate smartphone features into a scooter. And this on a 125.

Makes me weep when I think about the money wasted on the Metropolis that could have been put to proper use on a real maxi. (I know, I know, I keep banging on about this - I'll try and stop now)
