That's like a good statement to start and argument with! Some of BMW's creations have been either downright ugly or just weird! The latest C400 scoot is firmly in the first category, and some of their previous cruiser bikes in the latter!

Re: New BMW Electric Scoot
it has less range less top speed and fewer modes than my C Evo Scoot . It will cost £12000 or so minus the grant . I will stick with my Evo

Form an orderly queue.....for something else! Not my thing, but I've read about Piaggio doing an elec scoot (Piaggio 1 I believe) that is seemingly cheap and probably useful! If you want to whiz round city centres, anyway.

I've nothing against leccy scoots (I always fancied a Vectrix) but crimes against design: that I don't like. It's not even as if it's function over form!

Nooooooo, it’s a crime against scooter riders. Prison for the designer

In fact, I actually like this bike! I first saw it a few weeks ago and the design has grown on me. Leaving aside the price I'd love a ride on it!
Probably not ugly enough for the 'Ugly Bunch'!

You should have gone to Specsavers?
But yes, obviously a go on one would be great. Still, I'd only want to ride it in the dark....

That is truly awful...and with that seat, I suspect an 80 mile range will be about 75 miles too much.StephenC wrote: ↑Wed Nov 10, 2021 5:49 am Oh my gawd, they're really going ahead with it.
