Service Department Now Open

Post by SH125Paul »

Doble's service department now open.
Was gonna do an oil change as interim until they were open... when i phoned a while back they were all 'Blah Blah Waranty'...
I made it clear that it was an 'as well as' not an 'instead of'... They said that Honda were happy to extend the milage... So if thats the case, why isnt the service interval longer...

How does the scoot and oil know about COVID 19 anyhow? - It's a 2020 Model!

So my 2020 SH125 is going in for its 600m service, at just over 700 miles tommorow for a first service and their look over.
I then have a year / 4000 miles for issues... which for me and normal commuting would be just over 6 months...
Like my other bikes n scoots, I'll look after its service needs from then on.

I put my Forza in for its 8k service a couple of weeks ago at Johns of Romford. Nothing to pay as I included £599 for the Honda Service Plan when I bought it. Covers the the belt change as well :)

Not seeing as much use since i'm not commuting...
But a smile every time i run an errand or go for a ride rather thank taking the NC750X DCT.
fitted heated grips to the bars but not had the front plastics of to run the wires.
MPG on the dash shows about 130 at fill up, but thats displayed rather than calculated.
Speed 55 - 60 indicated, dont like the hill from Westerham to Biggin Hill...
But all considered - nice!

As I remember it it’s quite a slog! Used it many times on my NH80 Lead to/from the airfield.
