After a two year hiatus due to Covid-19 and other things, the Mottza's infamous Pie and Mash Rideout returns!!!

The ride was done every year until recently for 10 years.

The agenda is meet at Colchester Services (J28) and we have a nice 1hr - 1hr 30 Bible around the delights of North Essex before arriving at the town of Walton on the Naze on the Essex Sunshine Coast. We then pile into Whites Pie and Mash and eat the best food known to man. Normally followed up by a little wander to the pier and maybe an ice cream. Afterwards we normally head somewhere else such as Beacon Fort in Harwich, Dedham or Mersea Island..

Time 10:30 for a 11:00 depart.

I'd be tempted to come and spend a few days down South but I doubt I'll have a bike until later in the month.
Next year, perhaps.

Might be a long trip on the electric one.

I may join but I no longer eat carby food so the primary reason for going is not why I would go, I'd have to find an alternative to satiate my hunger.

Hi Mottza, I’ll be joining you all on the run. Confirmation has been received from the head shed and I look forward to meeting you all. Will I need my passport as I’m coming over the border from Suffolk? Is everyone in Essex a drug dealer? Do the women all have Botox and blonde hair? I’ll ride down carefully and try to avoid any dodgy looking characters until I meet up with some at J28 services…..
