I only had one PX125 and got rid of very quickly, even after an exhaust swap and carb rejet she still wouldnt pull above 62mph. Which was better than the 55mph before but you really need a 200 to appreciate them. I used to ride my PX200s all over the place on full or near full throttle, they loved it
Id love one again to use locally and for work but cant be doing with getting an LML 200... Id always be wondering when it would break

Re: Piaggio are saved!
I believe the new 4 stroke LML's are a lot more reliable than the 2 strokes but the 200 does have a few teething problems with fuelling which are being looked at by the factory.
Later in the year the 200 will have fuel injection but I guess its reliabity will depend on where the components come from
Got to take my hat off to LML though for developing the PX and carrying on where Piaggio left off.

Interesting, cant see how you can have fuelling problems with a carb these days? Theyve been around forever after all Fuel injection should be alright, the Enfields have it now dont they?

Yeah it does seem a bit odd but Im sure Twist n Go mag had one on test and only got about 60mpg whereas LML reckon they should easily do at least 100mpg.
The only other thing is the petrol tank is much smaller than the 2 stroke at about 4.5 litres so you have to fill up every 60 miles or so which could be a pain if you were travelling long distances to scooter rallies etc.
I suppose a lot of scooterists would be used to that though as the old style lammies when tuned up with bigger cylinder kits etc dip as low as 35 mpg + 2 stroke oil (Ouch)

Re: Piaggio are saved!
My mate had a TS1 with loads of bolt on performance goodies and he was getting less than 30mpg! But yes, 60 miles between fill ups would be a right pain. 60mpg is rubbish fromthat engine, the 2 stroke 200s used to do a little more than that.

Re: Piaggio are saved!
i have to admit i cant see the point of the 150 engine over here
not much if any quicker then the 125 but learners cant ride it and anyone with a licence would buy the px200

Re: Piaggio are saved!
Yep, a 200 would have been a better idea but is that still possible with a 2 stroke due to all the emissions shite? No good Piaggio sticking a 200cc 4 stroke in a PX as that'll upset the purists.

It's as good as you'll get.
It does clearly say on the site that SORN information isn't available before 2007.
