Apologies if people already aware of this but I'll mention it here anyway.

One of the French laws regarding bikers (rider and pillion) is that your helmets must have four reflective stickers (I assume front, back, and sides). No details found as to size of but really small ones won't cut the mustard. This law is for all motorcyclists in France not just the French. This is possibly why my Schuberth helmet came with four white reflective patches. Failure to have them is a 90 euro fine and three points on your licence (yes, even a British licence!).

Most of the ones on the sheet I referred to in the thread about HiViz in France are 'big' in terms of sticking on a helmet so should be acceptable.

I'm up for the ride tomorrow, the x is picking little one up about 10.30am so I'll get to Lymm asap if you wouldn't mind waiting for 5 or 10 minutes? Frank I'll still bank the cheque I'll only spend the cash lol.
