I know exactly how you feel - the temptation to hang to my mk3 with Malossi variator is very strong - even without your expensive Harley experiences! Of course, BMW have borrowed the enclosed chain idea, so with an extra 15bhp (albeit another 40kg as well), it makes a Beemer sound like a tempting, though painfully expensive, option.

Interesting. I've just had a test ride on thenew Tmax 530 which was OK but a horrible yowling noise from the belt at 30mph. Is this due to poor adjustmet?

As Dealers we now need to buy Laptops and the 'interface device' which I know isn't going to be cheap.

Just imagine how much more expensive it will be for the home mechanic, at least dealers get to use it on a variety of machines.
All the more reason not to buy a Yamaha, as if the bike and spares prices weren't bad enough already.
