Now obviously Ive only seen these scoots at shows and have no knowledge of them or how they ride, therefore apparently cannot form any opinion of them so Ill let you all judge if the buyer of said scooter was a wise man or not. However, I did note that even away fom the NEC the Jetmax still is as ugly as sin and put together by blind men on a Friday.
OMG... someone bought one!

I had similar thoughts when I saw someone on a cream and green Symbretta in Aberdeen last week.
It reminds me of a tired old fashioned country cottage kitchen.

Actually, if it wasn't for that dreadful pointless looks like it fell off a car radiator grille, it'd be OK.
The spec is pretty good - 22bhp, disk brakes front and back, claimed luggage room for 2 full face helmets...for as much as I paid for a 2 year old Burgman 200. How it handles and how well built it might be, I dunno.
At least if cagers see it in the mirror they will think 'What the F*** is that??'

Re: OMG... someone bought one!
That grille means though that cooling isn't compromised. the radiator can sit in direct window and hence can be smaller.
I'm serious though, I don't see anything much wrong with the styling. It comes across as functional to me and that ain't bad.
There is a good write up from an enthusiastic owner here. http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=607278

Its not so much the styling of the front, that isnt too bad. But, the seat height is daft, its about 4"s off the ground and what about those rear footboards! But, the build really is dreadful, I cant think of anything on two wheels even from years ago that is that shocking... the CPI X Large comes close but not quite as poor.

Not according to the owner in the review it isn't.
The seat height is adjustable. At its lowest seting it is 1.25 - 1.5 inches (depending on whose specificationss you use) lower than a 400 Burgman seat and can be raised higher.
