That's better...

Post by Sgt Ernie Bilko »

Picked up the Vespa GTS250ie today and had forgotten how smooth and responsive that Quasar engine is. A real peach as I picked my way out of Leicester and headed for the M69. On the motorway the speedo needle indicated 80mph with relative ease and she simply purred at 70... handling was solid and sure footed...

However I had to jump off the motorway when I realised a fuel stop was needed. First station was empty and had stock of unleaded. First time this year filling up has put a smile on my face. £10 for a full tank! I'd imagine it'll return the same MPG as the Smart car but with bags more style and fun!

I'm looking forward to the summer commute!

 That is a problem. Bugger to fill without filling your underseat storage with unleaded!

if you lift the storage well slightly, and wedge the filler cap under it, when filling up, it gives a gap to let exess fuel escape. ;)
