Well...if its price is a bargain - well relative to new TMaxs and BMWs anyway, it would start making more sense. It didn't seem too ugly and humungous in that video either.

Looking at the way its being ridden, it would seem a worthy alternative to a Silverwing or Burger 650 but doesnt seem sporty enough to worry the Tmax. Or, maybe the riders a bit ponderous?

The MyRoad 700 is one of the ugliest scoots I've ever seen. The bike itself is probably good like most KYMCO's but wow that is some funky front end... and I thought the Grand Vista (Dink) had a face only a mother could love.

Surprisingly KYMCO isn't bringing this bike to the States which is a surprise to me as many riders here complain about too few choices of big displacement scooters.

Spot on. The Colonies just aren't into scoots yet - of any size, really. I go up on craigslist every couple of days just to poke around and there's not a single used scooter over 250cc that isn't a Yamaha or a Burger anywhere from New York to Philadelphia and points in between. It's a desert out there.

I've just watched the video and read the specs and pictures on this scoot. It seems very much like my Silverwing and matches the storage under seat. I couldn't make out if there are any front cubbie pockets though. My Silverwing is an 07, and i think in a couple of years i will replace it for a new bike,Where are these scooters from? have they been around long enough for thier mechanical reliability to be commented on? Are they easy to maintain? ( i don't like anyone touching or sevicing my machines but me) :)

Well, Kymco are from Taiwan, and have a good reputation for quality and reliability. Ease of maintenance I've no idea!!

I agree, our KYMCO was rock solid and had better fit and finish than our Honda Reflex.

I don't mind people thinking it's ugly(I don't) if it's available in UK i wouldn't mind a test ride on one,and if there won't be many of them about that, would attract me even more. Did someone say MotoGB are Kymco imporers? i think Robinsons of Rochdale are now owned by them, it says so on my receipt for the helmet i recently bought off them, next time I'm in there I'll make enquiries
