get some Ultraseal. It's never failed me or any of my mates and it's the very best one you can buy. It's widely used commercially in cars, bikes and trucks all over the world

So it's pre-puncture liquid/gel that sloshes about, and when riding uses centrifugal forces to keep it on the inside of the tyre, and gunks up holes as they happen?

I need to do me some more research on this...

to read people put their lives in the hands of a rubber bung or some cheap liquid on a 100 mph scooter beggars belief

I put one in a Z1300 back tyre and rode it at speeds up to 130mph, had one in a VFR750 and rode it at speeds up to 150mph.
A plug faiing is no different to riding on a new tyre and getting a puncture.
I've never had a plug fail but I have had a puncture...

I need to do me some more research on this...

Yes, I believe its liquid when under pressure in the tyre, when if there's a puncture, the drop in pressure at the hole causes the gunge to solidify.

Great when it works, and has done for many people, but I've had some failures. My biggest gripe is that if it does fail, you are completely up shite creek as you then can't put in the temporary get you home plugs as the gunge pushes them out, so you are completely immobile. Without it, its a matter of calling the AA, getting a temp fix, and then getting it sorted permanently.
