Discontinued Bikes...

Post by JohnR93 »

I was pondering... If you could persuade a manufacturer to reintroduce an old discontinued model (maybe with updated modern brakes etc.) Like Triumph's retro Bonneville range or Moto Guzzi's V7 series, what would it be & more to the point, would you rush out and buy one?

My choice would be Honda's CX500 from 1978. What's your favourite 'I WANT ONE!' retro bike?
Regards,

The Yamaha RD350 set up as a cafe racer. Not the RD400, the 350. Not the TZ250, the 350. Light as a feather, took off like it was shot from a cannon, and sounded like a swarm of angry bees was between your knees. icon_power-ranger.gif

But with uprated forks and a disc brake... oh and side panels that don't eject themselves at 50mph!
