The starting point in Wellfleet.  It was mid-point for us because our resort room was along the trail further down the road in a town called Brewster.

My ride, a Trek Pilot 1.0.  If I were to equate it to a motorcycle I guess you would call it a sporty standard, sorta like a Versys or Ninja 650.  It looks aggressive but is actually quite comfortable to ride long distances.

Serena on her Felt ZW 25.  This bike is much more sporty than mine, lighter, more aggressive seating and a much better derailleur.  Neat mint green color too.

The trail is really nice to ride with only a few bumps and cracks.  Only a short portion is shared with motorized vehicles.

We found this path that went out to the ocean.

Looking back towards shore is the Nauset Lighthouse.

Spent some time watching the water wash ashore.

Love the sound of crashing waves.

A gratuitous self portrait.

Serena cruising along.

We both saw this shed at the same time and said the same thing... must be zombies locked in there.  We watched way too much Walking Dead recently.

I stopped for a photo-op of this pond and my bike.  Serena didn't feel like stopping so I told her I would catch-up.

It took me five miles to reach her and when I finally passed her she sticks out her tongue at me... nice.

This boat was moored in front of a fish market.

And this fella was waiting for scraps of food from tourists.

There are a couple of fun tunnels to ride through along the trail, this is the shortest of the bunch.

It's always nice to stop and smell the flowers.

And to take a look around... even if it costs a quarter.

Almost back to the resort.  I'm getting very tired right about now.

Some scenic marsh land.  There was a hiking trail alongside but we couldn't find where the trail started so we viewed from a distance.

Another pond.

Bye for now from the both of us.
While we may not have gone as far as you can on a motorbike it was really great to find this riding trail.  There is a lot to see in 26 miles when you are pedaling.
