help pug off the road

the pug satelis is off the road got home from work had tea went to put ped away and noticed a puddle under it
turns out to be coolant strips body work off for a look

follows the dribble and found that a cylinder bolt had rubbed a pea size hole in the hose

tried fleebay and such no luck so phoned 3x for a new one sorry sir we don,t keep them so they have had to order from france
that will be about ten days sir
is there a fix to put me on till it comes to keep me on the road !!!!!! please

Try a car accessory shop, poss Halfords, they used to sell radiator hose repair tape. Should last you until you get the new hose.

Depending how tight the bends in the hose are and how much space is available, you could just use some of this stuff

Well you could always buy my "spare one" and run that until yours is fixed. And then sell whichever one you fancy.

cut the pipe then sleve it with copper or other metal tubing

stick a punture repair patch on it the a jubilee clip over the patch to hold the pressure

self amalgumating tape might work with a jubilee clip

I am sure you will find a way

got offered 9oo quid for mine against a sym 400 other day at bennetts lovely white one looks well at £4999
