They promote mph above mpg
They think a sportsbike with 1hp more than last year is an `improvement`
They think racing improves the breed
They think bigger is better
They actually ride more miles than 97% of their readers
They haven't campaigned for increased service intervals, mandatory horsepower/power-to-weight limitations for new car drivers, equal moped rights for our 14 year olds with our contniental (and fellow EU) cousins, compulsory Third Party liability insurance for pedal cyclists.
They have done nothing to improve ab initio access to powered two wheelers to increase the numbers of riders for tomorrow
In todays climate WE are the more relevant road users.
It is THEY who require acceptance from us.
Don't invite them here, they're the ones with their heads in the sand
Well said Sir..
Lyn. and i ride both types of BIKE...

Re: MCN Tossers

However if you wanted to read better motorbike AND scooter related content MCN are in a good position to provide that.
MCN are owned by Bauer Media (http://www.bauermedia.co.uk/Brands)
It's easy to point out what's wrong, to say why it doesn't cater to 'MY' needs, to say it's flawed/wrong/shite, but maybe if 'we' took the time to say 'hey, we'd like to know this and that...'
Whether we buy the mag or access it for free on the web, surely 'we' could be more inspired to read it?
A man who was run over by a #69 bus on a zebra crossing was heard to say: “It is not the strongest nor the most intelligent that survive. It's those most adaptable to change.â€ÂÂ
Am I alone on this?

If you want to be incrementally better: Be competitive. If you want to be exponentially better: Be cooperative.

Re: MCN Tossers
Better all sit down. MCN are actually quite complimentary about the new X10

Re: MCN Tossers
They got something wrong though the 125cc variant will be available in the UK my source has one on order. The 500 will be a possibility if enough people ask for it, your dealer should still be able to get you one.

1 of 2 is just referring to the photos, that's all.
You'd think they'd show a few more!

Re: MCN Tossers
A thought. The sale figures for maxis in the UK are pathetic. Now arguably this could be a chicken and egg scenario, but surely MCN want to pander to their readership. And the majority of their readers probably would not be seen dead on a scooter.
So have MCN really got it right, and we are just fanatic weirdos?

Just cos we're fanatic weirdos doesn't mean that we are wrong, or that MCN aren't a bunch of living-in-the-past tossers!!
