
My point is that we really are a minority group. In 2011 there were less than 20k scooters of all types sold in the UK, versus 95k of other forms of PTW. And the biggest selling scooters were either chinese mopeds or Vespas.

Motorcycles in the UK just seem to mostly be portrayed as weekend warriors or courier machines, rather than a practical form of transport. Those on here know better, but it just seems that hardly anyone else does.
