The new Honda ugly scoot is the same, a reet Tw** looking at the manual. Steep through cover off, only 4 screws and a couple of poppers BUT then the front side has to be removed  not a job for night time at the side of a main road in the rain me thinks... :(

Data, Is that the same for vans? I have a Berlingo van and can change the bulbs on it without any tools, companies no not want any down time on their fleet.
BTW, glad your enjoying the 400 Burgman, I have been a sleeping Vstrom forum member for some time and enjoyed your input from time to time.
I am going to use changing bulbs as a bench mark for deciding on my new car next time, as well as other things, I have 3 cars to look after and I always seem to be changing bulbs by torch light in the freezing cold, so far the new Mini, Fiat 500 and Mazda Demio have caused no problems, they have all required bulbs at some time.

Data wrote: Many many cars require a wheel off and inner wheel arch liner removed to replace a headlight bulb. That's not new. But darn annoying!

That is one good thing about my punto; it's very easy to work on, and, being that it is an Italian car, that has been a bit of a Godsend!
