Ah the old 'Open Face' Chestnut...

Is it a Flip-Front or has it just got a removable chin bar ala Open Face?

If So, Not for me... (although i do consider one every summer - and still come up NO)
I like a full face, and have an (aging) Arai Quantum for rides on the scoot and a Tour X for the Supermoto,
But, for commuting on the scooter, the fact its all stop-start roads, and security requirments at the gate at work, removing glasses, crash helmet, relacing crash helmet, glasses etc is a right old faff, a flip-up is often my weapon of choice. and have had a Caberg Trip, replaced with the updated verssion of a Caberg Konda, and now have a Lazer Panema as my No1, with the Caberg as a No2 - which i can fit under the seat, or when the Lazer hasn't dried out from a ride home in the pissing rain!

Although i'm now considering a Caberg Riviera...
The Nolan N43 doesnt look flip? just removable Chin Piece...
Not familiar with the Nolan Lids...
Caberg do a removable chin piece - the Hyper X - but again, not a flip...

I have a Nolan N90 flip front and had a good experience with the Nolan brand.
It is very well made and the flip stays shut in Sharp's crash tests - lots of others didn't :?
I'd say the build quality and materials are better than average and air vents work well but they don't fit some head shapes and fit is extremely important.

I'm a Caberg man myself. I've had them for years and the quality is pretty good for the money. You can get spare parts for the Cabergs too.
Probably not ugly enough for the 'Ugly Bunch'!

I use a Nitro F347 VN - flip front, built in sun glasses and fresh air when stationary...

Prices start from £55 on fleabay:
