then in theory the Kymco should have more power, as the yanks say, no substitute for cubes

Yes the Downtown 300 is faster than the lot of them, with a few tweaks it will exceed 160 kph indicated which is getting close to a ton.

Not sure that it takes that much of a tweak. Mine does close to that straight out of the dealer...Indicated 155kph, (c:96mph?), which is probably not far short of the 93 that they listed it at when I bought it, although I think they reviewed that downwards to 90 at a later date.
