"mightbesane". She's comfy on the highways and nimble enough on the twisties and good on gas and yes, fits comfortably on the bed between me and the wife...
You mean you let the wife sleep with you and the bike?? :o

I've not riddent the earlier version, but I used to see one regularly where I live and it was always nice and clean and made a really nice noise as it cruised past. It was that one that first got my attention towards maxi's.
Probably not ugly enough for the 'Ugly Bunch'!

Been riding for 55 years & owned too many bikes to list here...

I had some stuff from a Maguires polish pack that removes all old wax and debris. Then I used a bottle of the paintseal cream to apply two coats of the Supagard. It was truly remarkable how deep the lustre was, and still is. It gives some minor protection against scratches and good protection against bird muck. It's best to wash the bike in the Supagard non foaming anti acid car wash. This also helps remove ground in debris and protects the finish. I haven't found the sponges to be brilliant but they do work.
Mate, i'd be opening up a valet shop if I were to get all these stuff you mentioned. Sure, I played with meguiars stuff before, the 'elbow grease' clay, polishes, etc but I just can't justify getting any more than that sponge to give it a try for a 2003 tmax with its multiple war wounds.

That said, if I change it for a newer scoot with its gleaming bodywork, i'll make sure to refer back to this post and be more clinical with it.

Thanks as ever for the detailed descriptions though

Actually, I sleep with the scoot and the wife sleeps with Spot, our cat. ;)

I was on my way to look at a Yammie to replace my Honda CH250 when I arranged to ride the Burger. Never got to the Yammie. Made the deal for the Burger on the spot and never looked back.
