My other half has seen the sad look on my face and has agreed to come with me in my van to meet you mad bunch of fool hardy people at the pie shop.....I've told her of the delicious liquor and yummy jellied eels and pie with unidentified meat in..so she has agreed to bring her own sandwiches and tummy medicine for me,,,,,so with a bit of luck I will see you at the pie shop about 1 pm

OK you guys ,its 9am and it is still bucketing down on Canvey ,,i dont mind a shower but this is over the top.as soon as it calms down i will phone mottza and catch up with you all.

Just so everyone knows the meet is happening at the Little Chef further up the A12 because the 8 Ball cafe is closed for some reason today.

We're proper hard riders us lot! Me, Dave Weller, Silverbonce and Poldark all went through hours of heavy rain and bad flooding to get to some pie and mash. Terry turned up in his camper van. Some of the worst weather I had seen for some time and rode in.

No photos as I forgot the camera and wasn't going to get the phone wet.

Got back in one piece, thanks for a nice day lads even though most of it was under water. pie and mash was great,,
Got to do it again one day.
Gonna have shower and get ready for Ken Dodd.
