Phew, thank goodness for ABS! Only had mine kick in just the once on a very greasy town road. Had to brake a bit sharpish to avoid a stray pedestrian who hadn't got her brain in gear. As you indicate, it defo works...and glad you are ok!
Probably not ugly enough for the 'Ugly Bunch'! :lol:

Been riding for 54 years & owned too many bikes to list here...

I have got out of trouble twice now with ABS coming in to help me, without it and the skill of the oncoming car driver I would be history.

Data, was this 'stray pedestrian' by any chance on her mobile phone at the time? Because I have noticed that it is not only drivers on the phone who can be a menace. Pedestrians can be just as bad. It's just that it doesn't hurt as much when you hit them LOL. Maybe for the pedestrian but they should look where they're going rather than yacking on the phone.
