The temps where about 16C and the sun was rare. Like the missus put it "as soon as you start to ride it rains", which describes pretty much my luck. That didn't stop us though.
The TMax is equipped with Yamaha's Knuckle Visors and Leg Shields which performed fantastically. I also recently installed the lower sport screen to reduce helmet noise.
•My non-waterproof gloves where only partially wet and my hands never got too cold.
•My pants where totally dry and shoes slightly wet on the outside.
•The "waterproof" jacket was just a bit wet mostly around the upper torso and upper arms. Nothing went all the way in though.
We were cruising at around 75 mph specially on the way home. Light rain most of the way and heavy traffic.
The TMax offered very good protection from the weather even with the sport screen fitted. There was plenty of water hitting the helmet but I was ok with that.
There were times when it was very windy that I would like a taller touring screen but nothing to make me change from the sport screen.
Both me and the wife have a bit of a pain on our behinds and I swear there was nothing nasty involved.
Other than that I came to the conclusion that I can ride until I need to stop for gas or food. The TMax proved to be comfortable enough.
Up north I met with some friends and took a long ride without the wife. 2 sport bikes, 2 Harleys and me. I was the most underpowered but managed to always keep up with them. I was also the most dry and most comfortable.

They were all curious with the scooter. In the north of Sweden there are people that have never seen a maxi scooter before and it did manage to get the most attention and questions most of the time.
The Harley owners where the most impressed with the TMax. The storage, the weather protection, the good enough speed and the sitting position and comfort. I explained that it's not a bike I take out only on the weekend. I go to work with it, I go to the shops with it and I have fun with it. It's more of a partnership that a toy. I even answered the phone while we were cruising at 75mph. The one with the VRod was very interested and even dared to ask for a ride, he really liked it but I believe he would only consider it as a second bike.
To conclude it was a great ride. Very satisfied with TMax. The only thing both me and the missus would like is better clothing, and a full face helmet for her. Oh and foam tips for our iPhone headsets.
