Had my new ECU to A7 model done a good few months back and problem of stalling at slow speeds has not been fixed. Happens about once a week. DANGEROUS.
Bike going back to main dealer soon for further check.
My guess is that the problem is not fixable.
Will update after inspection.
Anyone else with problems after recall done, please post here.
Will Honda buy the bike off me if I threaten legal action?

Re: Honda SH300i stalling after recall ECU
Others have reported this, I think. Some say their bike is now fixed after the work, others say that their scooter started stalling after the "fix". A shame, because otherwise there is much to recommend this scooter. Thing is, if it is pot luck as to whether you get one that stalls when it feels the urge, can anyone safely buy one?
No doubt some owners will be along in a while to confirm.
Otherwise - buy Peugeot! (and by coincidence, I'm selling one...)

Re: Honda SH300i stalling after recall ECU
When I had my SH300 it never stalled once.
Took it in for the recall and it stalled twice on the way home from the dealer!
Sold it soon afterwards so cannot comment if it was a one off.

Back in the olden days it would just have been a simple case of adjusting the throttle stop screw to increase the idling rpm.
Possibly not so easy on a modern fuel injection job if the "computer says no".

Yeah...you can't stall something that won't start.StephenC wrote:Otherwise - buy Peugeot! (and by coincidence, I'm selling one...)

Daft question but do any other auto Scoots never stall, even once in 20k miles?

Re: Honda SH300i stalling after recall ECU
I agree, it is very dangerous.Happens about once a week. DANGEROUS.
I was in fast flowing traffic when mine stalled, and because of the safety cutout I had to come to a Full stop before I could press the starter.
The car behind nearly ran into me
