Does anyone know if its possible to reduce the amount of throttle play on a Burgman 400

Yes, if I remember correctly (my bike is in the garage out of sight) you can adjust the freeplay in the throttle movement by adjusting the cable near the throttle itself. I think the adjuster is under the rubber sheath. There are two cables if I remember right. One to open the throttle and one to close it (for safety). Some one will correct me if I'm wrong I know. However, be careful. It's supposed to have freeplay for safety reasons. If you remove or reduce the cable freeplay too much the engine will start to accelerate when you turn the steering. Your owners manual tells you how to set up the freeplay.
Probably not ugly enough for the 'Ugly Bunch'!
