Re: Northern Ride Outs - Meet the Ginge @ Pocklington 22nd J
Well a strange ride out. No Rain - very unusual. Met up and Steve lead off through the urban jungle that is Wakefield. Called in at Squires for a Bacon Butty - which I was forced to eat, apparently it is a tradition. After talking a bit too long it was off to meet Ginge in Pocklington. I would like to formally state that at no time did I exceeed the speed limit on the A64 and if Steve and Alan say differently well......

to quote Gerard "..well my GPS said I was only doing 72...." ....BOLL@X.... well my speedo..and alans said 90+... on the A64... on a sunday... on a sunny day... DUURRRR!!! ...AND WE PASSED TWO BIKE COPS WHO HAD PULLED SOME BIKES... AND HE STILL DIDNT SLOW DOWN!!... obviously the thought of another bacon butty at Fridaythorpe biker cafe was over riding his right wrist!
Good job my maxsym 400 was run in now... but then again according to others who have never ridden one, due to its supposed inferior build quality and engine it couldnt have possibly kept up with a burgman 650 and 400......
la la la...whistles a tuneless ditty... whatever lads

I can guess how quick they were going......i didnt even see them as we passed in opposit directions heading for Thirsk.
once i left you all at Ripon we went over the dales and up to Manor Cafe, once there Sam (my 7 year old pillion) said "Daddy are we going to wait for the others to catch up or will it take to long"
