Advice please. A friend of mine wants to get into Scooters. She is over 21 and has a full car license so the first thing is CBT.
After that what would be the best 125 to go for? One choice if money was no object and another if it is please. She needs a substantial machine.
Burgman 125 or what?

I loved the X9 evo that i had, great on fuel plenty of power for a 125 and would cruise nicely at 60+ big and comfy too.

Vespa LX125 3V, pricey but very long service intervals and its cool, exactly what a youngster wants.
If money is an issue, then maybe a Kymco Like although maybe a little old farty?

Swing125 or a SH125, Honda build quality, engines go well and spares cheap. FES125 for an underrated cheap used.

Re: Burgman 125 or what?
I have an aprilia atlantic for sale soon. 53reg 13000miles from new loads of new parts on it doesn't want for anything mechanically. Same sort of size as an X9 but without the weight only downside is the 9ltr fuel is a bit stupid on a maxi but then it does 100mpg.

Re: Burgman 125 or what?
i had a go on a Bergman 125, xmax 125, PCX 125 last night as well as my S-Wing 125 and ive got to say i prefered the S-Wing and the Bergman. I liked them all though and thought the PCX was good value for a grand less than the others but did feel smaller and the bump in the seat was a pain in the arse.

A colleague at work has one of those Atlantics and it's a lovely looking scooter, pretty good top speed for a 125 as well.
